The influence of temperament on the interaction of personalities in activity

Based on the theoretical analysis of the scientifi c works of domestic and foreign scientists, the article shows various approaches to the study of human temperament. The original defi nition of human temperament as a higher mental property is given as well as the characteristics of individuals with diff erent types of temperament. The ideas about the manifestations of this mental property in activity and communication are explored. The fundamental factors of temperament formation as a higher mental property are revealed: the type of individual nervous activity, joint activity, and language.
