The data on the metabolic rate in two species: sunwatcher toadhead agama Phrynocephalus helioscopus (Pallas, 1771) and spotted toadhead agama Phrynocephalus guttatus (Gmelin, 1789) at different temperatures. Revealed a smaller dependence of the intensity of metabolism of the ambient temperature at the sunwatcher toadhead agama that, apparently due to its better adaptation to high temperatures.
