The study of influence of the drum type on the distribution of non-dusting lime fertilizers on the field surface

The results of studies on the determination of the quality of the performance of distributing drums of various types for the application of non-dusting lime fertilizers are presented. The parameters of the experimental distributing drum with blades and the distribution of non-dusting lime fertilizers on the working width of the spreading are determined. The use of the distributing drum with fertilizer spreader (PRT-10 model) is recommended for speed of the unit 2,60-2,75 m/s with doses of 2,7-26,0 t/hec with width 7-8 m. Quality of the process con be character: zed uniformity on front 23,5-25,5% and along to the unit moving - 8,7-10%.
