Influence of steppe zone conditions on duration the vegetation period of carrot

The article presents the results of a study of varieties of carrots canteen in the steppe conditions of the Altai territory to identify the most appropriate size of the growing season. It was determined that all the studied varieties belong to the mid-late group (vegetation period - 120-140 days). MO variety of the whole group of varieties is the most precocious regardless of vegetation conditions.
