The influence of the modernization challenges on the imperatives of the innovative development of the North Caucasian elites

The author considers specific features of the innovative resources of the North Caucasus regional elite in the context of the current modernization challenges. Political modernization in the region is accompanied by the clash of traditional values and post-modernist innovations. It creates the need for education of the appropriate political elite.
