Influence of interaction of electrodes on characteristics of incomplete surface discharge in air on the basis of emission spectra analysis

Бесплатный доступ

Spectra of the incomplete surface discharge in air at atmospheric pressure experimentally determined. Emission bands of nitrogen 2+, 1+ and 1- systems are identified. It is shown, that the discharge plasma at pulse frequency impact of 8,33 kHz is characterized by local vibration equilibrium of electronic state with temperature, and the states corresponding to 1+ and 1- systems of nitrogen remain thermodynamic nonequilibrium. At rapproachement of electrodes reduction of maxima of lines intensity of nitrogen molecule transitions in interelectrode area begins about 5-7 mm and 4 mm they merge, and at distance of 0,5 mm the maximum in the central zone at the set voltage level decreases, and then disappears at all. The oscillatory temperature of a level C on an external edge does not vary and is within the limits of an error, the level C is equilibrium, in the center at distance about 1 mm the increase in oscillatory temperature of a level C is observed.
