The influence of the reserve regime on dynamics of the vegetation of meadow steppes

This article provides an assessment of species composition and structure of plant communities in reserve regime and in unprotected area. During the 30-year period of investigation on the site of the reserved steppe there was marked the increase of species diversity and forming the plant community with dominance of shrub and edge of a forest species. The anthropogenic disturbed communities are characterized by a decrease of species diversity and the increase of the role of the species characteristic for the recreational areas.
