Impact of the housing factor on the evolution of social risks in a region

The paper presents the results of a study of the impact of housing factors on the evolution of social risks in a region, according to opinion polls ('Reserves of Social Relations Harmonization in Mordovia', 2008, 2011; 'Quality of Life of the Population of Mordovia', 2013, 2014) and the correlation analysis of the indicators of official statistics for 2008-2013. A direct interdependence of the housing factor, the birth rate and medical services for the population is exposed; improving housing conditions decreases social risks in the areas of demography and public health. An inverse relationship of the housing and the number of students of comprehensive schools is detected.
