The impact of visual images that carry moral and ethical meaning on the socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students

The article examines the literary works of Russian writers of the XIX century, devoted to the North Caucasus and Kuban, and paintings of famous Russian artists, demonstrating the historical and cultural realities of the region. The authors describe the process of socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students by means of the realities of art (literary and visual) for understanding the mentality of the modern Russian citizen.
