Introducing eco-innovations to the regions of the Central federal district

The article considers the possibility of introducing eco-innovation to various types of production. The analysis of the territorial formations that are part of the Central Federal District, which adhere to environmentally friendly principles in production, was carried out, their experience in this area was studied. The benefits both for business and for the state as a whole from the creation, implementation and development of eco-innovations are given. Eco-innovations are analyzed as a relatively new and promising direction of economic development. The main obstacles to the development of "green" innovations are identified.
