Introduction of an electronic document management system as a necessary component of the company’s digital transformation

The advantages of the introduction of an electronic document management system (EDMS), considered as one of the components of the company's digital transformation, and representing a software and hardware complex that implements work with electronic documents, are investigated. The main advantages of the EDMS are analyzed, as well as the goals of its implementation: minimizing the number of physical documents, providing protection against unauthorized access, monitoring the execution of documents. Using the example of the introduction of the product of LLC "Sintellect" SED Tessa, the reduction of time costs for the implementation of a specific business process at the enterprise is demonstrated.
