Introduction of foreign methods and measures of anti-corruption control in the practice of the subjects of the Russian Federation

The interconnection of regional institutions of anti-corruption control and the wide discretion of state power has formed a modern system of measures and methods of their activity. An international anti-corruption assessment of countries is projected onto their regions. Therefore, in this article, the author notes that in the Russian regions there is a dichotomous system of public bodies and officials who fall under anti-corruption control. These include not only the public service of the regional and municipal levels, but also public-private structures. According to the WGI, anti-corruption control should include an assessment of the mechanism for exercising power and work with citizens. Such localization allows us to project methods and measures of anti-corruption control on municipalities and regions. This thesis is evident in those Russian regions that use special anti-corruption control methods. The author evaluates the real capabilities of the authorities and officials to verify the movement of finances and capital, as well as to establish their origin. As a result, the positive experience of regions from foreign countries is gradually being introduced into Russian practice.
