Foreign policy aspects of the Russian Federation’s activities in the field of higher education: new challenges

The article examines the foreign policy aspects of the Russian Federation’s activities in the field of higher education, taking into account the challenges that currently determine the political picture of the modern geopolitical confrontation. The author concludes that the current political situation significantly affects the possibilities of promoting the national model of education abroad. In this regard, the formation of international educational policy in the Russian Federation is relevant, taking into account the world practice of foreign policy activities in this area of international politics and international trade. The article presents the main directions that determine the foreign policy aspects of the Russian Federation’s activities in the field of higher education, taking into account new challenges, which make it possible to promote the Russian model of higher education in the international arena.
