Russia's foreign trade relations against the background of negative trends in the international trade system (2019)

The article considers the latest trends in foreign trade relations of the Russian Federation that appeared in 2019. Based on the recently published official materials of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the national customs statistics data the author shows that last year formed an unfavorable for the development of Russian foreign trade shift in international commodity trade. The most significant among them are approaching to the end of the next world economic cycle, the slowdown in this regard, economic development in the developed zone, as well as in the areas of emerging markets and developing countries. In addition, the turbulence in international commodity exchange remained, which inevitably and naturally affected the results of foreign trade activity of a number of leading exporters, and, accordingly, and global trade in general. The author of the article presents exclusive statistical materials, numerous calculated data for the first time introduced into the domestic scientific circulation.
