Water resources of the Akhangoran basin, their effective use and protection

This article describes the state of groundwater and surface waters in the Akhangaran River basin, around the Almalyk mining and metallurgical combine (AMMC) and the amount of water consumed by the population of the city city of Almalyk, the amount of precipitation in the region, the annual flow regime of existing canals in the region, methods of protecting water resources and purification of polluted waters.
