Water reservoir Morkushenskoe - the specially protected natural area of Ivanovo region

The article devoted to the specially protected nature area of Ivanovo region - «Reservoir Morkushenskoe». This reservoir is located in Komsomolsk district. Some basic characteristics of the reservoir, such as depth and morphometrical parameters, are presented. Flora of vascular plant species and mosses, vegetation are briefly described. Some data about rare and alien plant species are provided. As a result of the conducted research the status of specially protected natural area «Reservoir Morkushenskoe» of local level was recommended to save with a category «Protected natural complex». The square of the protected area is 413.2 hectares.
