The article poses the task of choosing the most cost-effective water supply system for a high-rise building in St. Petersburg. For this purpose, a high-rise building was modeled. For him, two types of water supply systems were considered: without zoning and with parallel zoning. Their hydraulic calculation of head losses in the pipeline for the same operating conditions was carried out. As a result of the calculation, the head loss for the system with parallel zoning turned out to be less than in the system without zoning. The author concluded that for a high-rise building the system with parallel zoning turned out to be the most economically profitable, since it has fewer losses in the pipeline.
