Military-historical heritage of Russia in the museums of Pleven

In this article the author considers formation and composition of the collections of the military-historymuseums inthe town of Pleven, created in the course of memorialization of the Russо-Turkish war 1877-1878. The Russian military-historical heritage which they have been collecting, studying and making popular, is of great cognitive and educational value, occupies a special place in the collective memory of the Bulgarian people and contributes to the formation of an objective image of Russia abroad.
