Military-patriotic education of Russian youth: legislative framework, modern features in the field of vocational education

The article deals with Russian laws and by-laws, through which the state policy in the field of military-patriotic education of Russian youth is implemented. It is concluded that the totality of areas, forms and methods, levels of responsibility, sources of funding for military-patriotic education of Russian citizens should be assessed as an integral and integrated system. It is emphasized that the military-patriotic education of young people of pre-conscription age and army youth differs in content and in regulatory authorities. A brief analysis of articles on this topic in the scientific electronic library of Russia is given. The author talks about the expediency of applying social, historical and national approaches in the organization of educational activities. It is stated that the technical, technological, information and communication state of modern society imposes additional qualification requirements on the organizers of the military-patriotic education of youth.
