Role of the municipal government in the tourism development (case study of the Vologda region)

The paper deals with the interaction of the regional and municipal authorities with representatives of the tourist industry in the Vologda region on the basis of the author's original research. The article analyzes advantages and limitations of the existing system of cooperation and ways of development of the tourism industry at the municipal level.
