Armed insurrection of prisoners in GULAG (Komi ASSR, 1942): historical and legal analysis of reasons, consequences and actions of law-enforcement authorities

The article is about an armed insurrection of prisoners. The situation in the Gulag led to mass disobedience of the prisoners serving their sentences in labour camps. Very often it was caused by the abuse of power towards the prisoners and literally beastly living conditions in some camps.
