The armed conflict in Syria: the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the problem of settlement

The article deals with the settlement of the armed conflict in Syria and analyzes the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in stopping the bloodshed. The authors make a number of conclusions regarding Iran's positive contribution to the peace settlement process in Syria and reveal the reasons for Iran's unqualified support for official Damascus in the existing realities.
