Issues of digitalization in the context of the contemporary stage of evolution of public governance

The aim of the article is to determine the true place and role of digital technologies in the development and formation of the theory and practice of public administration at the present stage. The paper shows that at present, undeservedly little attention is paid to understanding the phenomenon of digitalization in terms of conceptualizing public administration, especially against the background of its crisis and intensive searches for a new paradigm of public administration. The author concludes that the significance of digitalization lies in creating the prerequisites for the formation of managerial consciousness in the subject of management.
