The author analyzes the views of G.S. Sablukov on the Golden Horde spiritual culture and concludes that despite certain errors made by G.S. Sablukov, for half a century his works have remained unsurpassed in the Russian historical science in such spheres as religion, education, law, language, folk arts, calendar.
