The article analyzes the main problems of legal construction of financial instruments in digital format. The history and trends of legislation development on electronic turn of non-certified securities and other instruments in Russia and other countries are considered. Contradictions between basic norms of civil legislation on securities and special norms on electronic financial instruments are revealed. Hypotheses are put forward on the directions of law and legislation on electronic circulation of digitalized instruments development.
