Issues of implementation of the development strategy of the Far North transport system (the case of Archangelsk region)

The article presents an analysis of the transport infrastructure of the Far North of Russia. The problems impeding of its effective socio-economic development were identified. An approach to the formation and evaluation of the strategy of transport infrastructure development for the Far North of Russia, based on a system of regional indicators (SRI) was suggested. A general map of the SRI, reflecting the proposed strategy, was created. As an example, the transport infrastructure of the Arkhangelsk region was considered, and key development indicators on the basis of the SRI were identified.
