The conservation of cultural heritage in activity of International Union of German Culture

The article is devoted to one of the areas of ethnic policy of Russia, namely – the activity of national public organizations in the field of cultural heritage conservation. As an example quotes the work of the International Union of German Culture, in particular the implementation of the project «Creation of settlements registry conserving identity of traditional ethnic and musical heritage of the Russian Germans». Article is devoted to the possibility of modern legislation application in field of conservation of monuments for compositing the registry of cultural heritage objects, which have a symbolical value for the ethnic communities and groups. Further federal assistance programs in Russia and Germany in the ethnocultural field are analyzed. The author maintains the heightened interest of the government and society to the problem of the salvage the cultural heritage in Russia. She contends that current aims in this sphere connected with mechanisms of the law implementation. The only way to do this is mobilization of the non-government organizations. In other words not only federal and regional administrative are responsible for preserving of the cultural heritage objects, but also institutions of the civil society, including national public organizations.
