Issues of improving the information security of the internal affairs agencies of Russia in modern conditions

The article analyzes the effectiveness of the use of information resources in daily work of internal affairs agencies. The main reasons of insufficient information support and insufficient information interaction of law enforcement agencies are revealed. Significant attention is paid to the development of information security measures, as well as to issues of regulatory and resource support for the activities of internal affairs agencies. In this area, the author proposes the necessary set of activities. The author also considers the position of information resources of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in information resources of the country. The study outcome is the definition of basic functions of the state on the path of improvement and further development of information resources of internal affairs agencies and in general national security efforts.
