Issues of improving the assessment of the activities of the service of the district authorized police of the territorial bodies of the MIA of Russia

the article deals with the problems of law enforcement activities associated with the imperfection of the assessment of the activities of the internal affairs bodies of the russian federation and, accordingly, one of the units - the service of district police officers. through the analysis of a number of normative legal acts and the practice of applying the procedure for evaluating the activities of the service, significant shortcomings in the effectiveness of the actual system for evaluating them are revealed. ways to solve this problem are proposed through a change in assessment methods with the interconnected need to improve the very service of district police officers. materials and methods: the research materials were normative legal acts and practical activities in the field of evaluating the effectiveness of the activities of district police officers. the methodological basis was the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, as well as the methods of empirical and system analysis. the results of the study: made it possible to formulate proposals that, in the author's opinion, will contribute to a more effective formation of an assessment of the activities of district police officers, as well as the necessary measures to improve the service in question. findings and conclusions: after analyzing the practice of applying the assessment of the results of the activities of district police officers, the author comes to the conclusion that it does not fully comply with the law and other regulatory legal acts, as well as the need for changes in this area.
