IT-project risk management issues in transition to new software in modern conditions

In this article, the authors address the important issues of transition to domesticsoftware from the standpoint of risk management of IT-projects. The articlesubstantiates the need for risk management in the implementation of projectsat all stages of import substitution of software and its adaptation for Russianorganizations. The main types of risks in the implementation of new softwareare identified. A set of risk management procedures is recommended. Methodicalrecommendations on the implementation of risk management of IT-projects forpublic sector organizations associated with the difficulties of decommissioningforeign software are given.
