The National Museum of Tuva Republic named after Aldan-Madyr actively uses new modern museum technologies in its activities that help create unusual expositions, thus successfully fulfilling its socio-cultural function. The exposition "Subedey-maadyr - a great uryankhai warlord" created at the end of 2018 was dedicated to the life and activity of one of the outstanding warlords in the history. Subedey (1175-1248) is a historical figure, a great warlord who played a key role in the military policy of the Mongolian Empire in the first half of the XIIIrd century, namely in the development of military art and the creation of Genghis Khan's army. He was an ally of Genghis Khan, his sons’ mentor, the keeper of the Yassa - the main law of the Mongolian Empire. The reconstruction of the collective image of Subedey in the form of a wax figure dressed in the military armor made by the Mongolian masters in 2018 in accordance with the order of the national museum named after Aldan-Maadyr, occupies a key place in the exposition. The wax figure of this historical personality is made and has been used for the first time in the exhibition activity of the Tuvan museum. Besides Subedei’s figure, the exhibition presents his war horse with all accessories as well as ethnographic materials and additional photo illustrations. The presentation of the exposition "Subedey-maadyr - a great uryankhai warlord" got positive feedback from visitors and the public. The exhibition was unusual and interesting. The set goals and objectives were achieved, one of which is the patriotic education of the younger generation. The scientific consultant of the exposition preparation is K.A. Bicheldey, a director of the museum, Sc.D. in Philology, the author of the monograph "Subedey - a great uryankhai warlord" (2019).
