He article is based on the materials of sociological studies conducted in several stages and devoted to the analysis of the level of latent crime, victimization of the population, the image of ATS employees, the study of the employers' opinion on the quality of training graduates of law schools and faculties. One of the issues raised in these studies is the analysis of women's perception of social anxiety associated with the perception of the criminal situation in the country and in the place of immediate residence. It is known that gender identity largely determines the sense of personal security, perception of the surrounding social space, orientation toward interaction with the police, evaluation of its work, credibility of various security systems. That is why the important task of the study was to establish differences not only between the male and female subjective assessment of one's own safety, but also the differences in the assessments made by ordinary women and women serving in the ATS. In addition, gender differences are clearly seen in the assessment of the competence of young professionals working under the guidance of men and women lawyers, including in the ATS. Analysis of the generalized data shows a higher exactingness of women, as compared to men, both to police officers and their subordinates, as well as their more adequate assessment of all life situations.
