Interpretation of scholastic terms in translated literature (case study of the "habitus" term)

The article deals with translation of some terms that define the general quality of the translated text, particularly the use of a term ‘habitus’, and suggests its equivalents. The author carries out a research by case study of Thomas Aquinas’s ‘Summa Theologiae’ and the Ukrainian translation of the work. Some terms are difficult to translate not only into Slavic languages in general and Ukrainian in particular, but also into English.
