Reproduction of museum object: concept and content

The article discusses the theoretical issues of reproduction of a museum object and collection. The main normative legal acts regulating the reproduction of museum objects (including for commercial purposes) are considered and the main definitions of the concept of «reproduction of a museum object», reflected in the scientific and educational literature, are given. The article contains definitions of the most well-known types of reproduction of museum objects.
