Reconstruction of libraries in Leningrad region, 1943-1945

During the years of Great Patriotic War many libraries located in Leningrad region were destroyed and burned by German-Fascist invaders. Citizens of Leningrad began to collect books for reconstruction of regional library network. The role of factories, enterprises, academic organizations and institutes, book shops and book publishing houses engaged in work on libraries reconstruction is characterized. The contribution of mass libraries of Leningrad is accented.
