The economic recovery of the USSR in the postwar period (1945-1948)

The article analyzes the problems of modernization of the Soviet economy and the development of foreign trade in the first post-war years. The author notes that the period under review (1945-1948) was characterized by the high dynamics of economic growth and the increase in production efficiency that was a decisive factor for economic success. The author shows how the post-war modernization of the economy influenced dynamics and structure of foreign trade of the USSR in that period.
