The article is devoted to the history of the Orthodox Church in Moldova during one of the most difficult periods of the existence of the Moldavian Church — the German and Romanian military occupation of 1941–1944. The study considers: the activities of the Romanian Orthodox Church in occupied Moldavia, the theft of church property, the political position of monks, as well as the forms and methods of the use of church structures for ideological service to Romanian policy by Romanian dictator Ion Antonescu’s regime in occupied Moldova during the Great Patriotic War.
