The article presents the features of the implementation of Russia's largest gas projects “Power of Siberia” and “Nord Stream”, considering the prevailing geo-economic and political situation around these projects. The inconsistency of the economic interests of Russia and China in the east and the sanctioned political confrontation between Russia and the United States in the west significantly reduce Russia's maneuverability in combining sea and / or pipeline transportation of natural gas to Europe and China.
