Introduction. The protection of family, motherhood and childhood is one of the areas of public policy of the Russian state, one of the strategically important components of which is the protection of children and adolescents from unlawful attacks and the prevention of juvenile delinquency. The President of the Russian Federation and the leadership of the power ministries annually, addressing the Federal Assembly and departmental boards, draw attention to the need to effectively combat juvenile delinquency. However, not all minors commit crimes on their own initiative; adults increasingly involve them in antisocial and criminal activities. In this regard, an important aspect of the preventive activities of juvenile delinquency is the identification of adults who involve minors in committing crimes. When investigating crimes committed by minors, as evidenced by law enforcement practice, identifying and establishing such a circumstance of criminal activity as the very fact of involving a minor in criminal activity occurs only when the crime is committed in complicity with an adult. But even in this case, it is not always possible to prove it. The article, based on law enforcement practice, summarizes the forensic problems of investigating the crime in question and suggests ways to solve them.
