The article presents the influence of logging equipment on the physical properties of light-loamy podzolic soil. The results of the study showed that significant changes in the bulk density, total porosity and porosity of aeration in comparison with the control and cutting strips occurred on the cutting trails. In cutting strips also diagnosed a change in physical properties, but in most cases the difference with the control is insignificant. Due to the change in the physical properties of the upper soil horizons in the felling formed unfavorable conditions for the resumption of coniferous trees.
