The influence of technogenic factors on agricultural animals for animal farming in ecologically adverse regions

A methodology is considered to estimate effects of technogenic factors on farm animals in ecologically unfavorable regions. To get a story straight it is necessary to investigate the ecological situation, morbidity rate, herd (population) characteristics and physiological condition of farm animals at different levels of biological organization: from molecular-cellular through organ to a whole organism (body), considering metabolism and mechanisms of an acting agent, dose (concentration) magnitude and rate and exposure duration. To exclude effects of the accompanying factors on the health of farm animals and population as a whole, attention is paid to the technologies of livestock feeding and management in the indoor and pasture periods, quality of feeds, ration full-value condition in micro- and macroelements, implementation of breeding and veterinary-sanitary measures, endemic situation of a region in some elements, in particular iodine and selenium.
