The ability to assess the wear of the carpet floor by optical properties indicators

The article discusses the possibility of analysis of the degree of floor carpet wear by their reflectivity indicators. It is shown that the wear of floor carpets considerably changes their optical properties. By analyzing these properties, there is a possibility of an adequate assessment of the quality of carpets after a certain usage period. The work presents the abovementioned technique of using the standard photoblocker and a method to construct a luminous portrait of the carpet, which is an assessment of the reflectivity uniformity of carpet surface area.
