The paper presents a study of the interaction of lactic and formic acids with a carbon nanotube and a hydroxyapatite molecule. The possibility of using CNTs as a protection of tooth enamel from the effects of aggressive acids is shown. The results of the established geometric and electron-energy characteristics of the processes of interaction of hydroxyapatite with acids are described. Theoretical calculations are performed using the molecular cluster model and the quantum-chemical method MNDO.
