Results of numerical and experimental studies of cavitational qualities of the axial pump, working at working liquid - metal liquid lead, are presented. It is shown that methods of computing hydrodynamics allow to define areas of possible cavitational erosion. Conditions of absence of cavitational erosion are established by calculative way.
