Possibilities of transosseous osteosynthesis use in treatment of patients with intraarticular fractures of the distal tibial epimetaphysis

The work deals with the problem of high priority - treatment of patients with intraarticular fractures of the distal tibial epimetaphysis. The clinical-and-statistical characteristics of 154 patients with the above-mentioned injuries is given. The technique of transosseous osteosynthesis using the Ilizarov fixator for treatment of the fractures of mentioned localization is described.
