Functional value is important. Currently, the study of phenomenal social networks in the digital economy is relevant and timely. In the end, the authors give their own definition of the social network Instagram, as a result of which its functions are determined by socio-economic, technological and marketing points of view, giving a classification of methods for promoting content on Instagram, as well as their strengths and weaknesses.
