The author illustrates the use of technology for marketing the tourist products and services by means of electronic systems. The article examines the performance values for the international e-tourism along with the status of tourism economy, trends in e-commerce development, and the ways of partnership between the administrative structures and the tourism business through the national portals with the e-sales option. Regional administrations can use the data to analyze the efficiency of tourism portals in Russia and the development of prospective policy.
