The advantage of low-intensity laser radiation use in complex treatment of open long bone fractures by transosseous osteosynthesis method was demonstrated. The index of blood serum refraction was used together with immunological and biochemical examination techniques to assess laser therapy effectiveness in 68 patients with fractures. Its diagnostic significance was determined. The use of biophysical techniques of examination contributes to improvement of bone regeneration process diagnosing and allows to examine some pathogenetic mechanisms of inflammation and traumatic disease
