The paper considers a section of the A. L. Chizhevsky's concept of solar-terrestrial relations - ideas about the patterns of the historical process and the structure of the historiometric cycle. Relevant for the analysis and forecast of social dynamics in Russia in 2021-2022, the features of the current - the second phase of the cycle are outlined. To activate destructive processes in society, a mechanism for rapid social transformations is proposed.
