The emergence and development of entrepreneurial activity

The article examines the various approaches existing in the economic literature to the interpretation of entrepreneurship as a special type of economic entities and the evolution of the concepts of "entrepreneur" and "entrepreneurship". The author summarizes the main stages of the history of entrepreneurship: from antiquity to the present. More attention is paid to the development of entrepreneurship at the end of the twentieth century, when the advent of e-commerce made it possible to improve the communication of entrepreneurs with customers.
